BASIC CPR & AED

The goal of the Core CPR course is to familiarize individuals with the manual application of CPR in a clear and effective manner. AED instruction will ensure comprehensive discernment of how to manipulate the machine successfully, while understanding how and when it should be applied. Additionally, the curriculum has been found acceptable for meeting requirements established by state child care licensing. The curriculum is consistent with widely accepted 2020 guidelines for cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Upon satisfactory completion of this course, students will receive a two year certification. Ideal for childcare workers, foster/new parents, and the general public.

BASIC LIFE SUPPORT FOR HEATHCARE PROVIDERS

The goal of a Basic Life Support course is to provide individuals with knowledge necessary to provide effective life support in an emergency. This course has been found acceptable for meeting requirements established by a wide variety of professional associations, councils, academies, and boards. The curriculum is consistent with the widely accepted 2020 guidelines for professional level cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Upon satisfactory completion of this course, students will receive a two year certification. Ideal for nurse (RN), medical assistant, hospital technician, dental assistant, EMT, physical and occupational therapists, firefighter, paramedic, dentist, respiratory therapist, and more.

HEARTSAVER FIRST AID CPR AED

This course is recommended for individuals who DO NOT work in the healthcare or EMS field. Everyone including new parents/families, foster parents, baby-sitters, daycares, schools, teachers, churches, personal trainers, security officers, youth camps, hotel employees, restaurant workers, and many other professions. The class is designed to prepare students to provide First aid, CPR (adult, child, and infant), and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. New and renewing Heartsaver are available and certified through American Heart Association. Students will receive their 2-year American Heart Association card upon completion of this class. Class cost $65

BASIC FIRST AID

Properly applied first aid can save lives and reduce recovery time. Participants learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of injuries, and sudden illness. Crucial information is given on how to deal with emergencies such as bleeding, burns, heart attack, stroke, and more. This nationally accepted program satisfies the requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Upon satisfactory completion of this course, students will receive a two year certification.

AMERICAN SAFETY & HEALTH INSTITUTE - CHILD AND BABYSITTING SAFETY

The number one priority of this course is to provide individuals with a clear and comprehensive understanding for confident and effective care while babysitting. This program covers age appropriate CPR & First Aid, choking for an infant and child, diaper changing, burping, feeding, as well as how to run an effective babysitting business. This class is approximately 4 hours, and students will receive a workbook and certification card upon completion. The card is valid for two years. Ideal for young entrepreneurs and siblings between the ages of 11-17.
