The BLS certification course is designed towards healthcare professionals that participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies. At CPR Training Nurse we are dedicated to educate and train those who want to save lives. More specifically, upon successful completion of the Basic Life Support certification course, students will be rewarded with a course completion card, which is valid for two years.

BLS supersedes CPR – this means that if you have taken a BLS class, there is no need for you to also take a CPR class.

When do I receive my certification card?
AED is short for an Automated External Defibrillator. When the heart stops functioning the way it needs to, an AED can help restart it. Almost like a jump start for your car battery. This is a device is used while providing high quality CPR and assist in increase of survival for a person. Once an AED becomes available you are to turn it on. The AED will be able to prompt you with further instructions.
Studies have shown there is a very slim to no chance of harming someone who has a pulse and you initiate CPR compression. In theory, better safe to assist someone who may not need help than be sorry and not assist someone who does.
After completing the class, students are evaluated according to AHA guidelines. Upon successful completion of the evaluation, students are issued a Provider Course Completion card.
